  4. Excretion- it is the process in which metabolic wastes are removed from the body. Body excretion comprise of urea, carbon dioxide (carbon (IV) oxide) etc.
  5. Growth and development- growth is defined as an irreversible change in size. Development is irreversible change in complexity. As living organisms grow, they increase in size. When living organisms grow and develop, they become more differentiated
  6. Reproduction- it is the formation of new individuals of species to maintain continued existence and population growth
  7. Irritability- it is the ability of organisms to detect and respond to changes in the environment. This attribute is of great survival to organisms
  8. Movement- is defined as a progressive change in position from one place to another. Some living organisms are sessile (i.e. fixed to the substratum). For instance, majority of plants move only certain parts.
